I brought Z 26mm this week and already took 1500 photos. It is very sharp in F2.8 and color is s line mood. I think I will continue to use this lens for my Z6ii at least six month for my street photography.

After some years away from Samsung for being annoyed with phone lagging, fingerprint scanner never working, camera with a very delayed shutter lag and aggressive processing over the image, I'm back with the S23+ and just because Samsung now allows you to completely switch off auto HDR and also force the camera switch regardless of the situation. The phone is much faster, it lags much less than before and the cameras are very good but I still don't like the color rendition of my photos, since they always look off, with some magenta or green tint to them. Shutter lag is still a problem, especially if you move fast to a new scene and the phone still didn't have time to adjust the settings. I was very annoyed with my previous iPhone 13pm because suddenly Apple entered this trend of changing completely the photo after being taken, and everytime I opened the photo after taking it, 1 second later the photo magically changed to a completely different thing than I planned! Well, I guess you can't have it perfect.

This is a camera that got recalled because Nikons QC is so poor they released the camera to the market even though didn't allow lenses to be rotated into the locking position. Then you have all the firmware changes required to get it up to standard - it's a decent camera now - but for this sort of money it should never have been released until Nikon got it sorted out. The Z9 also had lens mount issues [though the complete opposite issue].

I came across Excire a month ago. I have about a half million photos from the last 50 years, spread across 40TB of disk space. I was absolutely amazed with what Excire could find. Photos I haven't seen for years. The down side for me was they don't offer a monthly subscription model. As a senior on a very limited budget, the price, even with discounts was a problem. So I started looking at what else was available on the market. I found a few that I absolutely hated the interface and two well regarded programs that just crashed my Mac Studio on startup. And then I found Peakto. After using it for a few weeks, I'm still not convinced. It seems to do more than Excire, but has a harder to learn interface and to me seems slower. It links to catalogs from popular editing software and syncs changes.Peakto does have a subscription model as well as full purchase, but for me Excire does what I want it to do and does it easier. I may have to wait until I can afford Excire.

I love photography, and filming and just made a doc from RED, but what i wonder is does anyone care for photography or good filmmaking anymore? you can take the worst headshot of yours, put it in an A.I. app and boom it'll look like a GQ or Vogue cover. Sad reality but that's what change is about, it keeps changing things. 90% of people out there only watch smartphone videos now and think that's amazing production.

Why a 40 minute video? you can easily pack it down to like 10 or 15 minutes.

Dang seems like I'm going back and watching all your old videos since i subscribed to your channel earlier this year. So many of the old videos interest me. I started out as just a drone pilot then your channel introduced me to other forms of photography. So i went and bought a DSLR and now shoot whatever i find interesting.

First I thought of writing " this looks mf cinematic", then I saw your gear, and now I am commenting the whole thought". But this information is surely useful.
